With globalisation around and job potential reducing, unemployment is one of the major problems in India. On the other hand there is huge untapped potential for solar energy utilization at all levels. PRINCE appeals all unemployed youth to use their energy for self employment in the field of renewable energy. This will give you satisfaction of serving mother earth through ecofriendly technology apart from earning bread and butter. PRINCE has designed a special course "BE A SOLAR ENTREPRENEUR".

WHAT DOES THE COURSE INCLUDE?:

The course includes lectures, presentations and practicals on entrepreneurship motivation, theory of solar energy utilization, alternatives, details of manufacturing of parabolic cookers and water heaters, material procurement and marketing aspects, procedure for testing solar equipment, registration process with State nodal agencies and Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources, Subsidies and financial benefits. Simple financial calculations, Incentives from Govt., banks, IREDA to users and Industry. Introduction to other non conventional alternatives like biogas, biomass and their commercial exploitation. Entrepreneurship opportunities in energy alternatives.

The course gives insight into the huge untapped entrepreneur potential in renewable energy. The course is of an introductory nature and can prepare background for the people who wish to opt for Solar Entrepreneurship. Follow up may be required with us for detailing. PRINCE provides all the backup support for new entrepreneur from concept to completion. The intention of the course is to engage unemployed youth for more creative and eco-friendly profession.

DURATION OF COURSE:
Course duration is flexible and can vary from 2 days to 5 days depending on the scope and background of trainees.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?:
Anybody who can read and write. People with background for fabrication or workshop work will be benefited more. People with technical background can have larger perspective and product range.

Engineering Institutes, Polytechnics, Science colleges, I.T.I.s, organizations working in the area of sustainable development, NGOs can organize this course.

HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO PAY?:
The course is free if the candidates are coming to Dhule for the same. Course will be conducted for min. 10 candidates in a batch. However we can organize the course at other locations on self financing, no-loss no-profit basis. Our volunteers can come and organize the course as per the convenience of the parent organisation.

WHAT IS THE NATURE OF PROFESSION?:
The nature of profession one can go after the course is versatile in nature. There is job potential for every type of person. People can work as designers & consultants or manufacturers or traders or installers or maintenance contractors or combination of these.

WHO CAN ORGANISE THE COURSE?
PRINCE encourage all engineering and professional Institutes, non government organisations and all others willing to work in renewable energy, to organize this course. The parent institute has to bear the actual expenditure for conducting the course. PRINCE also encourage to establish local centers preferably at engineering and other professional Institutes. PRINCE can provide all required expertise and share our experience. These local centers can guide the community and budding entrepreneurs.
